A far cry from Valencias usual architecture, the city of arts and sciences is a world of its own. There are various buildings within the complex including the Hemisferic, L’oceanografic and L’Umbracle. The buildings are striking next to the gardens and if you’re interested, you can also go zorbing! Whilst it isn’t necessarily a day out if you’re just coming to admire the architecture, I recommend passing through it if you can. You can certainly spend the day here if you go to L’Oceanografic (aquarium) and possibly pair it with the Hemisferic (cinema) or museums.
(It’s easily accessible by the Metro, 3+5, I recommend getting off at the Alameda stop)
