We have now arrived in Osaka after travelling through many interesting and wonderful towns. Japan is an exquisite country, with friendly gracious folks and fabulous food. The cities are large and modern and the regional areas are picturesque and so very serene.
I will have so many stories to share with you but in the meantime here are a few more photos.

After a beautiful walk over the surrounding bridges, we arrived at the Notre Dame. An incredibly stunning cathedral with intricate detailing showing off the french gothic architecture. Additionally, at a cost, you can go up the Notre Dame and look at the view from a balcony at the top. I recommend taking a minute to glaze your eyes carefully over the cathedral to really take in all its carvings and designs. Around the Notre Dame there are plenty of restaurants and cafes to park yourself in if you plan on spending the day around the Notre Dame.
Situated overlooking the Champs-Elysees, the Arc De Triomphe is at the centre of 12 avenues. Walking up the Champs-Elysees, a recommended route toward the Arc, you will get the best and most incredible view up the road. With a height of over 50m, from the top you’ll have a stunning view of Paris and the Eiffel Tower. Whilst the queues may be long the view are most definitely worth it. Though don’t spend all your time at the top as some of the best architectural detailing is underneath the arc and around the edges.

Every once in a while, I am fortunate enough to experience something that is undeniably beyond what I had expected.
When I was offered the opportunity to travel to a luxury South African safari lodge in the Madikwe Game Reserve, I knew that it would be an amazing experience. However, every single expectation I had was exceeded by miles, and my time in Madikwe was nothing short of complete and utter magic.
The journey started in Johannesburg. We had arrived back into South Africa bleary eyed and zombie-like thanks to a 3am wake up call and a 6am flight departure from Windhoek. As soon as we had landed in Jozi we were quickly whisked away from the chaos of OR Tambo International Airport to the Federal Airlines private hangar and lounge.
Normally, a five hour layover would sound like torture, but it ended up being far from it. The lounge…
